Labor Day

We spent the afternoon of Labor Day with Garth, Laura, Brittany, and Malone (Jaron was working). We started at the pool. Kaden was so excited to finally get to go to the pool again. We only made it twice this year, but we had fun, thanks to great aunts and uncles willing to play with him while I took care of Kaylee!


After she napped, she was super happy!


After the pool, we headed up Green Canyon to get rid of Brittany and Malone's firewood (they had a LOT) and to roast hot dogs/marshmallows/starbursts. Most of my pictures are pretty lousy, but I thought this one was funny. That's root beer all over Kaden's face and shirt.


A few tips on food roasting:
-Reeses Peanut Butter Cups are yummy in s'mores!
-Yes, you read that right above, we roasted Starbursts. You should totally try it. Just do it like you'd do a marshmallow. When it starts getting a little bubbly, take it out for a few seconds. You can put it back in as many times as you want, but don't leave it in too long at once. The more you do it, the cruchier it will get. Yummy!
