Ely

We spent this past weekend in Ely visiting Jaron's parents and their friend, Mary. The drive down was terrible (ornery kids). It took almost 9 hours to get there, when it's really only 5 hours of driving time. Oh well, we still had a fun weekend.

On Saturday, we went in the mountains to roast hot dogs and marshmallows. Jaron's cousin joined us with her kids. The boys and Mary cut firewood, and the rest of us played.

Kaden loved throwing pinecones in the river with Grandma.

Kaden LOVED playing in the sand by the swing with his second cousins (sorry, didn't get any pictures of them).

When we got back to Grandma and Grandpa's, grandma set up the tee-pee. Kaden LOVED it!

He did take a small break from the tee-pee to help husk corn for dinner.

He crashed that night, in the tee-pee of course.

The drive home was a million times better than the drive there. We had lots of fun visiting!
