Happy Halloween!

Halloween started with carving pumpkins on Sunday night. I have more video than pictures, but haven't gotten those off the camera yet. Kaden wasn't sure what to do, but he did get into the goop a little bit.

The final result. Here's a tip from my mom: after you carve your pumpkins, put petroleum jelly on all the cuts and it will keep the pumpkins from sinking in too much. So far it has worked!

Kaden was very proud of the pumpkins. Every time we go outside, he has to sit down and point to all of them.

Ok, I know this video isn't fantastic because it's dark, but it was so funny to watch Kaden be fascinated with the pumpkins, especially while they were lit.

The first stop on Halloween was the ward trunk-or-treat. Kaden picked up VERY quickly that if he carried his little bag around, he would get candy. He got so excited with just a few pieces of candy that he'd keep stopping to look inside.

There was a little carnival at the church afterward. He really didn't care about any of the games. He sat in the middle of the floor to go through his candy.

Little batman with his milk and smarties. Kaden would NOT wear the hat/mask that went with the costume. He actually got really mad when I put the cape on him. He, of course, would not pose for any pictures, so this was one of the better pictures of his costume.

To top off the night, we went trick-or-treating in Grandma and Grandpa Reese's neighborhood with Rachel and the kids. We had fun, but it was a little cold!

Kaden, Tia, Caelen, and CK, were so adorable (please forgive any mispells). But I still think Kaden as a duck passed out with candy laying all around him is still my favorite.lol. Keep the pictures comin, we love to see them!
