Pineview Reservoir

At the beginning of the year, instead of making new years resolutions, we made a list of fun things we each wanted to do this year.  Kaden's included swimming at the beach and building a sand castle.  Being Labor Day weekend, we realized this could be our last chance to get to a beach without driving many, many hours.  So, we headed to Pineview Reservoir for the afternoon.  The weather was beautiful, but it got a little chilly with the breeze.  We had lots of fun swimming and digging in the sand.  It was a great way to wrap up the summer!

I didn't realize they had such a fun beach up there. I love the flip flops and the rock people.

Yeah, it was a great beach. You just go past the boat launch (the one on the East side, if there's more than one). Boats aren't allowed on part of it, so it was great for swimming!

That water looks beautiful. We just have brown water here so when we see blue water it looks awesome. Love the castle, flip flops and rock people. You're so creative.
